Banana Bread

Ingredients:

·         ¼  cup butter, softened

·         ½ cup oil

·         3 cup sugar

·         3 cup mashed fully ripe bananas

·         1 cup Sour Cream

·         2 cups Apple Sauce

·         6 eggs

·         6 ¾  cups flour

·         4 ½  tsp. Baking Powder

·         1 ½  tsp. baking soda

·         1 ½  tsp. salt

·         1 cup chopped Walnuts

 

Directions

1.  Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add bananas, sour cream and eggs; mix well. Add combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Stir in nuts.

2.  Pour into greased and floured loaf pans.

3.  Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely before slicing to serve. Refrigerate leftovers.

4.  Makes approximately 5 good sized loaves.

·         Kraft Kitchens Tips

·         Special Extra: Mix 2 T sugar and ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon. Dust greased pan with ½ of the sugar mixture. (No need to flour the greased pan.) Pour batter into pan, sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture and bake as directed.
